What is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy?
It is a treatment which may involve hypnosis but is based on a process oriented model. It considers
both thoughts (cognitions) and behaviours (habitual symptoms) and allows for awareness of emotional
responsibility using the A, B, C model. It draws upon the work of Albert Ellis (Rational Emotional
Behavioural Therapy), regarding healthy and unhealthy negative emotions.
